Course Description
This program introduces students to UChicago-style, rigorous economics education. Full-time lecturers in the University of Chicago Department of Economics will explore topics in three foundational areas: microeconomics, experimental economics, and macroeconomics.
Participants will also develop skills that will prepare them for further graduate study or other professional pursuits, such as interviewing, networking, and academic and professional communications.
Evening and weekend residential program activities will enable students to experience American life and culture and explore the vibrant city of Chicago.
A Survey of UChicago Economics and its Business Applications is a non-credit, 2-week, in-person program is offered on the University of Chicago campus. It is designed to enhance the knowledge and learning experience for London School of Economics (UK) and Panamericana University (Mexico) students.
Course Criteria
The program is open to current undergraduate students with a solid grounding in economics, statistics, and calculus
Non-US citizens who participate in this program will not require a student visa. You may need a tourist visa for entry into the U.S.; consult the U.S. State Department for more information about travel requirements.
